Standard rule checkout

The Check out button appears for standard checkouts when all the following criteria is met:

• The rule belongs to a ruleset that has the checkouts enabled.
• For this operator, the Allow rule check out check box on the Security tab of the Operator ID form is selected.
• The rule is not locked by another user or in a locked ruleset. A locked rule displays a padlock next to the Check out button. Hover the mouse pointer over the icon to see the reason it is locked.

Other operators can use Check out to branch or Private edit until you release the lock.
